Writing & Art Prompts

  1. Are you feeling down, stressed, or anxious? Write down what you are feeling. You can write as little or as much as you want. Then, listen to a meditation app of your choice. After you listen to it, write down what you are feeling. Do you feel different or the same?

2. Draw a picture of your pet. You can use a pencil, pen, colored pencils, paint, etc. If you don’t want to draw, you can write a poem about your pet.

3. Bring a journal or sketchbook and something to write with to the park. If you cannot go to a park, search the internet for a wilderness picture. Observe what you see for at least 10 minutes. Write or draw what you see.
